Youth and work

Our own Luigi Carunchio participated on 29/09 in the round table “Youth and Work. Strategies and skills for an evolving labor market,” as part of the first edition of Val di Sangro Expò.
The event, which attracted more than 30,000 visitors and brought together more than 200 companies, offered an important opportunity to discuss issues central to the future of the labor market, such as skills, new technologies and training.

With the participation of personalities such as Francesco Natalini, Tatiana Biagioni, Stefano Bacchiocchi, Susanna Camusso, and representatives of CISL, UIL, CGIL, as well as members of academia, the judiciary, and INAIL officials, the need for a collective effort to prevent accidents at work was discussed.

Despite advances in technology and available training resources, work-related fatalities continue to be a tragic reality. A regulatory approach, often reactive to dramatic events, is not enough. The key to improving safety also lies in strengthening the organizational models provided for in Legislative Decrees 81/2008 and 231/2001, making them effective tools for reducing the risk of accidents and preventing corporate administrative liability.

Investing in compliance not only helps prevent accidents, but improves organizational efficiency, making compliance not a mere obligation, but an added value for companies and workers. Only with a synergy between legislators, companies, unions and all social actors can the number of workplace fatalities be significantly reduced.

The event was attended by important personalities, such as the president of the Lombardy Region, #AttilioFontana, who expressed appreciation for the content and layout of #Confprofessioni's new publishing initiative.

Dubai Institutional Mission

The #institutional #mission of #professionals, promoted by Confprofessions and Aprieuropa, concluded a few days ago in #Dubai.

We immediately welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm, and we are happy to be here to tell about the good things we learned.

The issue of #internationalization is certainly a relevant aspect of our profession, as well as a point of #strength of the business-country #Italy that cannot and should not be underestimated at all: in this sense, the record value of #export in 2021, almost close to 500 billion euros, bodes well.

We return enriched at both #professional and #human levels, thanks to the intervention of first-rate partners who have impressed upon me a great desire to get involved. We would like to thank His Excellency the #Ambassador Nicola Lener for conveying the sense of institutions and all the other partners who attended, I mention among others SACE, ITA - Italian Trade Agency, Kelmer Group, Gianni & Origoni, Italian Industry & Commerce Office in the UAE, Italy Expo 2020, The European Council of the Liberal Professions (CEPLIS).

With the hope that this is just a first stage in a long series of professional opportunities related to the topic of internationalization.

KYRGYZSTAN, A NEW MARKET OUTLET FOR SMES THANKS TO PROFESSIONALS

Luigi Carunchio, in his capacity as president of Aprieuropa, met with Kyrgyz Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich to discuss future prospects for cooperation with Italian companies.

Rome, Oct. 12, 2021. Kyrgyzstan opens its doors to Italian businesses and professionals. During the bilateral summit held on Oct. 11 in Rome between Aprieuropa President Luigi Alfredo Carunchio and Kyrgyz Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich, numerous investment opportunities in various sectors for Italian companies emerged. To facilitate access for Italian SMEs, Kyrgyzstan has opened its own diplomatic office in Rome, emphasizing how economic relations between the two countries are proving to be a true nerve center among the former Soviet country's international relations with continental Europe. And the adoption of a double taxation agreement with Italy is expected to give a further boost to international relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich said how Italian companies could export highly qualified know-how to the country and how the economy of the Kyrgyz state could undoubtedly benefit from this input. At the same time, Italian companies could use the advantage of entering the domestic market of a state with steady growth and that enjoys a privileged relationship with the Russian Federation.

Kyrgyzstan has a mainly extractive industry," Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich pointed out, "and would like to grow from the point of view of exploiting its resources by developing a domestic energy market that needs technological support, however. And it is precisely here that Italian companies could carve out their own portion of the market within the emerging state of Kyrgyzstan. In this sphere, the role of freelancers at this time turns out to be of crucial importance," Carunchio added, "Italian professionals will be ready to accompany the companies that will express the will to do so in this new market by putting their knowledge at their disposal.
