Our own Luigi Carunchio participated on 29/09 in the round table “Youth and Work. Strategies and skills for an evolving labor market,” as part of the first edition of Val di Sangro Expò.
The event, which attracted more than 30,000 visitors and brought together more than 200 companies, offered an important opportunity to discuss issues central to the future of the labor market, such as skills, new technologies and training.

With the participation of personalities such as Francesco Natalini, Tatiana Biagioni, Stefano Bacchiocchi, Susanna Camusso, and representatives of CISL, UIL, CGIL, as well as members of academia, the judiciary, and INAIL officials, the need for a collective effort to prevent accidents at work was discussed.

Despite advances in technology and available training resources, work-related fatalities continue to be a tragic reality. A regulatory approach, often reactive to dramatic events, is not enough. The key to improving safety also lies in strengthening the organizational models provided for in Legislative Decrees 81/2008 and 231/2001, making them effective tools for reducing the risk of accidents and preventing corporate administrative liability.

Investing in compliance not only helps prevent accidents, but improves organizational efficiency, making compliance not a mere obligation, but an added value for companies and workers. Only with a synergy between legislators, companies, unions and all social actors can the number of workplace fatalities be significantly reduced.

The Institutional Mission promoted by Confprofessioni and Apri International to New York City and Washington D.C. ended last week.

The stay was enhanced by numerous meetings held in exclusive locations, such as that of the UN, United Nations, corporate headquarters, but above all by first-rate speakers: the ITA - Italian Trade Agency, with the presence of Fabrizio Di Michele his Excellency the Consul General of Italy in NYC, the law firm Fox Horan & Camerini LLP with the intervention of partner Annie Borello (Fiorilla di Santa Croce), the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce, Inc. with the presence of President Alberto Milani, the networking lunch with the Grassi consulting firm in the presence of CEO Louis Grassi, the U.S. branch of UniCredit having as speakers the Head of Americas Christian Steffens and Luca Balestra, Head of ECC, the Embassy of Italy in Washington with the intervention of Counselor Emanuele Di Lorenzo Badia.

CONFERENCE "THE EU REGULATION 679/16 APPLIED TO THE REAL ESTATE CONTEXT"

Present was our senior partner Luigi Carunchio, as President of Aprieuropa, at the conference "EU Regulation 679/16 applied to the real estate context," organized by the Representation of the European Parliament in Italy.

XVI FORUM UNGDCEC - PISA - 21/22 JULY

The 16th Forum of the National Union of Young Chartered Accountants was held in #Pisa, an in-depth study focused on the theme of #artificial intelligence, a component that will soon be to all intents and purposes an integral part of the Chartered Accountant's daily #work: in this sense, as #professionals we will have to be ready to govern it in order to put it at the #service of our #skills.
Present was our Mattia Scioli who took part in the conclusion of the splendid #Academy course, which allowed the 3 different classes to come together in moments of sharing and professional growth.
In addition, Pisa was the venue for the ratification of our Mattia Scioli to #President of the Union of #Lanciano(CH): a further great recognition for our firm that allows us to look to the future with great hope and awareness of having instead operated correctly in the present, transmitting the values of the profession to the youngest; the following are the brief words of the person concerned, extracted from the inauguration speech held on July 22: "thank you for the #trust, it will be an #honor for me to lead the Governing Board for the next 3 years; the goal is to grow and cooperate together with other local Unions, aggregating and involving other colleagues, in order to put on first-rate training events, forge strong ties with the local business community, and develop study committees with a view to professional specialization."

The 60th National Congress of the Unione Nazionale Giovani Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili, held in the splendid setting of Palermo's Teatro Massimo, a place of art and culture whose frieze bears the words: "Art renews peoples and reveals their life. Vain of the scenes the delight where it does not aim to prepare the future."
It is no accident that our association has the ambition of preparing the future, as the Certified Public Accountant has the burden and honor of being a central actor within the Italian productive fabric.
The main theme of the proceedings was tax reform, an almost historic passage for the Italian tax system; however, I want to dwell on the messages that are launched each time in these splendid occasions of learning and conviviality, bringing back the quote of the "pessimism of reason opposed to the optimism of will": a useful reminder that willpower should be the main driving force in our future choices, regardless of the difficulties we will be called upon to face.

We immediately welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm and we are happy to be here to tell about the good things we learned.

The issue of #internationalization is definitely a relevant aspect of our profession, as well as a point of #strength of the business-country #Italy that cannot and should not be underestimated at all: Singapore presents a very advanced local economic system and is a strategic hub of global reference, particularly attractive to the countries of the European Union and the United States, both from a commercial, financial and logistical point of view; moreover, it is a cutting-edge center in information technology, telecommunications, biotechnology and electronics, in short, an avant-garde destination not to be missed.

We come back enriched both on a #professional and #human level, thanks to valuable and content-rich speeches provided by the personalities who spoke, operating directly on the territory of Singapore, such as Gionata Bosco - President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Federico Donato - President Eurocham Singapore, Giacomo Morabito - Managing Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Federico Vasoli and Giacomo Merello, both Lawer and Partners of structured firms and operating in multiple nations in the Asian area, and successful local entrepreneurs who told their professional and life stories.

Mission of Confprofessioni in Brussels

Luigi Carunchio, a member of the council, from October 11-13 participated in the Confprofessioni delegation led by President Gaetano Stella and met with key players in the European Commission and Parliament. Closing the three-day Brussels event was a meeting with the director general of the Belgian-Italian Trade, Giorgio De Bin.

Luigi Carunchio, in his capacity as president of Aprieuropa, met with Kyrgyz Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich to discuss future prospects for cooperation with Italian companies.

Rome, Oct. 12, 2021. Kyrgyzstan opens its doors to Italian businesses and professionals. During the bilateral summit held on Oct. 11 in Rome between Aprieuropa President Luigi Alfredo Carunchio and Kyrgyz Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich, numerous investment opportunities in various sectors for Italian companies emerged. To facilitate access for Italian SMEs, Kyrgyzstan has opened its own diplomatic office in Rome, emphasizing how economic relations between the two countries are proving to be a true nerve center among the former Soviet country's international relations with continental Europe. And the adoption of a double taxation agreement with Italy is expected to give a further boost to international relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Bazarbaev Taalai Cholponbekovich said how Italian companies could export highly qualified know-how to the country and how the economy of the Kyrgyz state could undoubtedly benefit from this input. At the same time, Italian companies could use the advantage of entering the domestic market of a state with steady growth and that enjoys a privileged relationship with the Russian Federation.
